I have been invited to speak to several groups about my research and experiences around diversity-oriented churches and diversity in Christian higher education. My audiences have included groups at the following events: PCUSA Montreat Wee Kirk Conference, 2011; The Orchard Group, 2014; The Urban Anabaptist Ministry Symposium, 2014; Long Island Council of Churches Annual Gathering, 2014; and the GBOD Multiethnic Church Planting Training Event, 2015 and 2017 and Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, Pastors Week, 2017 .
I have also presented at the Academy of Management, the Tobias Leadership Conference at Indiana University, and the International Leadership Association around issues related to effective intercultural leadership, innovative leadership practices in Christian churches, and diversity in higher education.

My doctoral dissertation was a mixed methods study of leader cultural intelligence in diversity-oriented churches in the United States. Much of the research on this topic suggests that intercultural competencies are positively related to successful international engagements. However, the findings of my study establish significant relationships between leader cultural intelligence, top-management team openness to diversity, and leadership practices in domestic organizations in the United States. Having defended in January 2014, I have submitted key chapters for publication in the Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly and Missiology: An International Review—peer-reviewed journals....
